In July of 2010 we visited Barcelona, Spain. To this day, the city is one of our most favorite places of all time. The vibrant culture, masterful architecture, mouth watering food makes this city bucket list worthy. It is also the place that Paul asked Gabi to marry him amidst the 1:30am musicians and the ringing of champagne filled laughter.

Hostel L’Antic Espai– This is one of the most magical hotels in Barcelona. It is filled with artesian furniture, statues, and trinkets. The rooms are small but at the end of the day… You are in Barcalona so you won’t be spending too much time in the room. The hotel is also conveniently located next to tour bus stops and Las Ramblas. What to visit:
Take the bus tour– the bus tour takes you all over Barcelona and highlights the most beautiful architecture all over the city. Visit ALL of the Gaudi’s masterpieces. It will change your life.

Las Ramblas– this street is at the heart of Barcelona. You will experience a combination of amazing restaurants, bars, street performers, gift shops and beautiful music.
